	Welcome to Marple Cottage Surgery Vasectomy Clinic
	Dr Wells has been a general practitioner in the same practice in Marple since 1974, he first trained in outpatient vasectomy at Kings College Hospital in 1978. Over the years he has performed several thousand vasectomies ( he stopped counting after the first 1000) in a general practice setting, and at the moment is performing 300 procedures/year using a no scalpel technique. 	He holds a contract with Stockport Primary Care Trust for vasectomies for Stockport residents and is a member of the British Association of No Scalpel Vasectomists. Stockport residents and residents of the East Cheshire PCT area can access the service under the NHS by referral from their GPs.
